Kingdom Association of Convenant Pastors

On behalf of the Kingdom Association of Covenant Pastors we offer our sincerest thanks to those who attended our annual conference. Boot Camp provided a unique opportunity to train our ministry leaders and workers for more effective work in the Kingdom.  The initial feedback from attendees suggest the sessions and teachings were informative, relevant and delivered with clarity and sensitivity to today’s ministry environment.  Again, we thank you for attending and remind you that all conference sessions are available for viewing (free of charge) here. We would also appreciate your feedback through the convenient evaluation linked below. Thank you.

July 19th–21st 2016 • Boot Camp: Becoming Battle Ready

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air.
—1 Corinthians 9:24-26

Those familiar with the military have heard the term Basic Training, which is commonly referred to as Boot Camp. This initial instruction is intentionally designed to push recruits to their physical and mental limits. Pastors and churches across the country consistently find themselves involved with Basic Training, as ministry trends and attitudes call for the development of relevant and practical skills that are necessary to facilitate 21st century ministry. Our churches must be “Battle Ready.” The Apostle Paul urged believers to embrace “Strict Training” as they sought to run the Christian race. The Kingdom Association of Covenant Pastors understands this aspect of the journey and invites pastors, associate ministers, ministry leaders, congregations, officers, church staffs, choirs, musicians, and the community to Boot Camp – Becoming Battle Ready.

As Paul shared, all runners in a race run, but we must run in a way that gets the prize and realizes The Lord’s vision for the church and His people. This powerful conference will offer individual and corporate opportunities for introspective and community growth and development. Conference sessions include Reconnecting Spiritually from Empty, Establishing Effective Spiritual Habits, Practicing the Presence of God, Financing Vision, Spirituality and Changing Sexual Mores, Music and Ministry, and The Church and Social Witness. Preachers and teachers include Bishop Walter Scott Thomas, Sr., Bishop Claude R. Alexander, Reverend Marquis D. Johns, Dr. Lisa Weah and Dr. Ronald Williams. The Conference will also include a special live video presentation from author Alicia Britt Chole.  Join the Kingdom Association of Covenant Pastors at Boot Camp – Becoming Battle Ready.

July 18th–20th 2017 • Ministry Based On Big Dreams

The Bible declares nothing is impossible with God. Perhaps the impossibilities happen inside of us. With respect to Ministry, when is the last time you let your imagination have fun? The 2017 KACP Conference is designed to awaken, feed, and mature imagination in Ministry. Here’s our collective challenge—taking our thinking, shifting it from side to side, and allowing the flow of balanced, creative ideas which are fueled by surrendered faith. Creativity, Imagination, and Forward-Thinking Leadership is what Ministry Based on BIG DREAMS is all about. Join the Kingdom Association of Covenant Pastors for three days of creative visioning beyond your imagination.

Conference sessions include: Awakening, Feeding and Maturing Imagination; Challenges and Opportunities for the Church—Persecution, Secularism and Automation; Imagining a Multi-Generational, Spiritually Hungry Ministry; Imagine a Trump-ed World—Social Media, the Changing Two-Party Political System; Race and Class; Global Relationships; and Ministry in Urban Context. Join the Kingdom Association of Covenant Pastors as they discuss Ministry Based on BIG DREAMS.
